FEU Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (ITHM) bagged first runner up overall in the 8𝙩𝙝 International Tourism & Hospitality Students’ Convention 𝙖𝙣𝙙 3𝙧𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨’ 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙊𝙡𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 last 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏 and 𝟐 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨. The two-day event was attended by over 900 tourism and hospitality students and educators from across the country.
ITHM Dean Dr. Harold Bueno said the participants proved their skills and knowledge in various competitions, solidifying their passion for the tourism and hospitality industry.
“The result of the competition will serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, inspiring them to continue pursuing excellence in their chosen field,” said Bueno.
The following were the categories where the Tamaraws won big: Convention Planning, gold and bronze; Travel Vlog, gold and bronze; Hotel Product Presentation, bronze; Destination Marketing, bronze; Travel Feature Article Writing, silver; Travel Infographics, 2 golds.
